The National Monuments Service's description

Situated at the base of a slope in the centre of a settlement cluster (CL009-167----). This rectangular house (int. dims. 9.4m E-W; 4m N-S; ext. dims. 11.1m E-W; 5.5m N-S) of indeterminate date is defined by grass-covered stone walls. The S wall comprises single large slabs (max. L 0.8m; max. H 1.1m). The N outer wall-face is covered by earth which has accumulated from upslope; however, the inner wall-face here is visible up to two/three courses (0.9m), with a stone platform (2m E-W; 1.6m N-S; H 0.1m) built against it.

The medieval church of Noughaval (CL009-059023-) lies c. 69m to the NNE, within a graveyard (CL009-059024-). A 16th/17th-century house (CL009-167007-) lies c. 78m to the E.
