The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle SW-facing slope in pasture, within an extensive field system (CL009-074001-). This very poorly preserved subcircular cashel (49m E-W; 45.6m N-S) is defined by a grass-covered stone wall and associated spill (Wth 5-7m; H 0.3-0.5m), most clearly visible at NE and is non-extant from S to SW. Most of the perimeter is overlain by later drystone walls. There is a souterrain (CL009-165002-) NNW of the centre.
