The National Monuments Service's description
Within a cairn (CL009-059059-) on a gentle S-facing grassed-over karst limestone slope in rough pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). One upright slab (L 1m; H 0.4m; T 0.2m), oriented NW-SE, is sticking out of the top of the cairn. Smaller stones lie against the SW face of this slab, creating a cavity, which Westropp (1915, 257) recorded as ‘the remains of small slab cist’. A cashel (CL009-059056-) lies c. 55m to the WNW.
