The National Monuments Service's description

On level ground with restricted views, in rough pasture and karst limestone. Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. This poorly preserved small subcircular cashel (int. dims. 14.4m N-S; 13.6m E-W; ext. dims. 26.8m E-W; 25.3m N-S) is defined by a stony bank (Wth 5-7m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H. 0.8-1.7m) with very limited traces of an outer wall-face visible at S and W.

A cashel (CL009-074002-) lies c. 185m to the E.
