The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a high plateau in an area of limestone pavement with thin grass cover and some scrub. Listed as ‘Potential site – air photo’ in the SMR (1992) and as ‘Cairns’ in the RMP (1996). An enclosure was visible on an aerial photograph (HSL 9102/03) and a number of ‘small cairns’ were noted in the area (pers. comm. T. Coffey, SMR file). On inspection in 1997 a drystone-walled rectangular of modern construction was found along with some conical clearance cairns, also modern.
