The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight rise in a plateau of grass and karst limestone in rough pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-032001-). This subcircular burial cairn (6.4m E-W; 6m N-S; max. H 0.3m) is covered in grass. A cist (CL009-066002-) is centrally placed within the cairn.

A cashel (CL009-064001-) lies c. 68m to the SW.
