The National Monuments Service's description

Situated c. 13m to the ESE of a cashel (CL009-59064-). Possibly indicated on the 1842 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. This square house (int. dims. 4.5m E-W; 4.5m N-S) is defined by denuded and partly grass-covered walls (max. H 0.5m; Wth 0.7-0.9m) with clear outer and inner faces. An external projection on the N wall probably marks a fireplace. There is an entrance gap (Wth 0.75m) in the S wall. This is the southernmost house in a group of three houses arranged in a roughly N-S line outside the entrance to the cashel. They may be associated with the tower house (CL009-059065-) which stands in its S sector.
