The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight rise on a gentle S-facing slope, in pasture within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Indicated on the OS 25-inch plan (1897) and the 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This circular cashel (c. 26.5m WNW–ESE; 26.3m NNE–SSW) is defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2–4m; int. H 0.6–1m; ext. H 0.6–0.8m) upon which a later drystone wall (Wth 05.–1m; H 0.6–1m) has been built .The remains of a now heavily overgrown lean-to shed (int. dims. 5m NW–SE; 3.4m NE–SW) are visible in the NE sector of the interior. Known locally as the ‘Moher Ard’. An enclosure (CL009-239----) lies c. 190m to the ESE and a church (CL009-059023-) lies c. 200m to the SSE.
