The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in undulating pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. This small subrectangular enclosure (int. dims. 16.3m N–S; 15.5m E–W) is defined by a low grass-covered earth and stone bank (Wth 2.2–2.8m; int. H 0.2–0.4m; ext. H 0.4–1.1m). A drystone field wall (H 0.4–0.6m) has been built on top of the N side of the bank. The E side is damaged and ragged in outline. A row of stones marks the outer edge of the S side. The W side is slightly curved. Outside the SE corner a hole (diam. c. 4m; max. D 0.8m) has been filled with field stones. A cashel (CL009-059004-) lies c. 70m to the WSW and there is a holy well (CL009-059010-) c. 73m to the NNE.
