The National Monuments Service's description
In a low-lying area in pasture within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-030001-). Indicated on the OS 25-inch plan (1897) and the 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Rectangular enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This rectangular enclosure (int. dims. 37.5m E–W; 34m N–S) is defined by a double-faced stone wall (Wth. 1–1.2m; H 1.2–1.6m) with an entrance (Wth 0.8m) at S. There is an animal entrance at the W end of the S wall.
An enclosure (CL009-040001-) lies c. 14m to the W and a cashel (CL009-040003-) with an attached enclosure at E (CL009-040004-) lies c. 33m to the S. A house site (CL009-040005-) lies c. 15m to S.
A cairn (CL009-170----) lies c. 88m to the NNW.
