The National Monuments Service's description
On the NW face of a NE–SW escarpment in the Burren plateau. Within a multiperiod field system (CL005-108001-) and apparently associated with a possible post-medieval house (C009-004----) c. 8m to its S, and with four other nearby houses; all of indeterminate date (CL009-004001- to CL009-004004-). From c. 8m N of the possible post-medieval house (CL009-004----), a meandering, zig-zag road or trackway runs NW down a 5m-high escarpment - into which the road/trackway is cut. It then turns SW and finally NW, before trailing off (traceable L c. 108m; av. Wth 2m). It appears to lead in the direction of the medieval parish church of Killeany (CL005-108003-), which stands c. 360m to the NW.
