The National Monuments Service's description
On a low natural rise (H 1.5-2m) in pasture with land level to SW and sloping away elsewhere within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). This well-preserved circular cashel (25.8m N-S; 25.1m E-W) is defined by a double-faced wall (Wth 1.7-3.1m; int. H 0.15-0.4m; ext. H 0.7-1.1m). The inner wall-face is very intermittent, while the more clearly defined outer face comprises large horizontally laid slabs. Outside the wall at E is a second outer wall-face, set 2m away from the cashel wall. This may be the edge of an outer terrace. In the centre of the cashel is a subcircular grass-covered stone and earth mound (6.75m N-S; 6.55m E-W; H 0.2m) with several stone slabs set upright at its top.
