The National Monuments Service's description
On level, overgrown, rough pastureland and limestone pavement, within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). This subcircular cashel (23m E-W; 21.25m N-S) is defined from E to W by a collapsed field-wall, from W to NE by a single course of drystone outer wall-face (H 0.2m) with occasional upright flags perhaps marking the inner wall-face. From NE to E the cashel is defined by a barely visible overgrown stony bank (H 0.2m). A gap (Wth 1.4m) in the stone wall at the S may be an entrance. The interior slopes gently to the NE.
