The National Monuments Service's description

On an E-W ridge (above 400’ contour) in boggy rough pasture, with wide views. Comprises a low (H 0.3m) circular mound (diam. 13.5m) with a shallow, rush-filled dip (D c. 0.1m) in its centre. Outside the mound at S a shallow, curving depression (Wth 1m) may be the remains of a fosse. A modern gap (Wth 2m) has been cut into the NW edge of the mound. Two barrows are visible nearby; CL008-116---- c. 170m to the NNE and CL008-118---- c. 135m to the ESE.
