The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at the W side of Tobermoon holy well (CL008-049003-). Indicated on the 1842 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. This rectangular building (8.3m WNW-ESE; 5.9m NNE-SSW) with random-coursed drystone limestone walls (max. H 2.4m) has collapsed at the N and is overgrown at the E. The inner wall-face may be represented by a single upright slab in the NW interior corner. There is a square opening (Wth 0.2m; H 0.2m) near the W end of the S wall, 0.5m over ground level. The interior is filled with rubble and overgrowth. Abutting the SE side of the building is a more crudely built suboval drystone structure (see the holy well (CL008-049003-)). The associated Kilmoon church (CL008-049001-) lies c. 157m to the ENE, within a graveyard (CL008-049002-).
