The National Monuments Service's description

In an area of undulating rough pasture and outcropping limestone. Hachured on the 1842 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and indicated on the 1920 ed. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the RMP (1996). This circular cashel (diam. c. 33m) is defined by a stone wall (base Wth 1m; H 1m) with a collapsed rubble spread (Wth 2-3m) extending from its base. It is densely overgrown with scrub.
