The National Monuments Service's description
On the level crest of a low N–S ridge in improved pasture with the field boundaries to the S removed. Hachured with a children’s burial ground (CL007-008001-) indicated in its interior on the 1842 and 1915 eds. of the 6-inch OS maps. A poorly preserved oval cashel (int. dims. 29m E–W; 26m N–S) defined from W to SE by a low grassed-over stone spread (Wth 3.3–5.5m; H 0.2–0.5m) upon which a later field wall (Wth 0.4m; H 0.5–0.8m) runs, and by a low scarp (L 0.4–2.5m; H 0.2–0.3m) from SE to W.
