The National Monuments Service's description
In a low wet hollow from where ground rises gently on all sides. An oval mound (ext. dims. 14.7m E–W; H 0.5m; c. 7.4m N–S), obscured to S by cleared stone and bushes and retained along the N by possible revetting stones. The upper surface is poached revealing its composition of burnt stone. A holy well (CL007-005002-) lies 16m to the ENE.
