The National Monuments Service's description

In scrub on the lower SW slope of Gortaclare Mountain with Termon plateau rising to the NE. A number of possibly post-medieval field walls are indicated on the 1916 OS 6-inch map in a clearing c. 40m E of an enclosure (CL006-205----) but it may include earlier elements. The field system is visible on the OS 2005-2012 orthophotographs and was noted by Ros Ó Maoldúin.
