The National Monuments Service's description

On a generally level limestone shelf, in rough pasture on a karst landscape with excellent views across Burren E-W. Identified as an oval enclosure on aerial photography (Digital Globe, 2015). A large oval area (40m N-S; 36m E-W) which is defined by the low remains of a collapsed, sod-covered wall (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m; T 1.7m). The wall is more pronounced in places where occasional rocks protrude above the surface of the sod. A small cairn-like feature (3.2m NE-SW; 2m NW-SE; H 0.55m) (CL006-233----) has been built up on the enclosing elements at SE. The interior is uneven due to limestone pavement close to surface and other loose rock. Keegan (2016, 101-2) noted several other cairns in the vicinity. Enclosure (CL006-149----) is located c. 25m to W.
