The National Monuments Service's description

At the NE edge of a karstic terrace on the NE slopes of Slievecarran with panoramic views over the Burren lowlands to the N and Turloughmore Mountain to the E. A small oval cairn (dims. 8m NE–SW; 5.4m W–E; H 0.5–1.15m) of loosely piled stones. The cairn rises to a relatively compact gently domed peak with broadly slumped sides spreading to a low encircling skirt of loose stones, partly sod-covered around the perimeter from N to E.
