The National Monuments Service's description

On mixed open karst and rough, overgrown pastureland. A possible burial ground was noted on a Geological Survey of Ireland field map. The 1916 OS 6-inch map indicates a small rectangular enclosure (c. 12m N-S; c. 10m E-W) in the area which may have contained the burial ground. On inspection in 1997 this was found to have been levelled, as were several field walls to E and S. A number of slab walls form a field system (CL006-168----) to the N. A ringfort (CL006-167----) is c. 120m to the WSW.
