The National Monuments Service's description
On level improved and cleared pastureland c. 60m SE of a children’s burial ground (CL006-003001-). Hachured as a complete enclosure on the 1842 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a partial enclosure on the 1915 ed. The only potentially associated surface expression is a low arcing scarp. The OS parish namebooks for Kilweelran in 1839 (Placenames database of Ireland) list four ancient forts in the townland ‘standing in a direct line from east towards N. west about 8 chains [c. 160m] apart’. A mound (CL006-006001-) is located c. 150m to the N and an enclosure (CL006-004----) is located c. 60m to the S.
