The National Monuments Service's description
On a high (between 700’ and 800’ contours) level terrace in rough pasture near the S-end of Ailwee Hill, and within an extensive, multiperiod field system (CL005-104001-). Visible on GeoHive MapGenie aerial imagery (2013-18; accessed 18-1-2023) as a large, oval enclosure (est. diams. c. 70m SW-NE; c. 42m NE-SW) defined by a partially tumbled stone wall/spread. The interior contains a cairn (CL005-221----) to the S of the centre and a second cairn CL005-222----) c. 30m to its SW appears to sit on the enclosure’s line and thus post-dates it.
