The National Monuments Service's description
On the W slopes of a ridge overlooking the head of the Caher River valley within a multiperiod field system (CL005-014001-). A D-shaped enclosure (c. 53m E-W; c. 50m N-S) with straight S side defined by a stone wall that appears to sit on older wider foundations. Visible on Ordnance Survey orthophotography (2013-2018) and on Digital Globe. Possible house foundations (CL005-257001-) are visible in the interior towards the S and hut sites (CL005-257002-, CL005-257003- and CL005-257004-) abut the exterior at N, NE and SE.
