The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight N-facing rise in rocky pasture, close to the edge of a limestone shelf to the N, overlooking Glensleade valley to the E, and within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL009-225----). In the S centre of a cairn (CL005-191----). A cist (int. dims. 2.9m N-S; 1.7m E-W) aligned N-S and defined by six sidestones protruding slightly from the body of the cairn. Two sidestones are visible on the E and W, with a single sidestone at N and S.
