The National Monuments Service's description

In elevated rocky pasture on a N-facing slope, within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL005-160001-). Not shown on the 1840 OS 6-inch map; indicated as an enclosure on the 1916 edition. A subrectangular cashel (33.5m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a partially collapsed slightly battered drystone wall (Wth 0.75-0.8m; int. H 1.2-1.5m; ext. H 0.9-1.75). The inner and outer wall-facing survives intermittently around the monument and the walls are surmounted in places by more recent stonework. A blocked-up gap in the S wall (Wth 1.8m) is probably the original entrance. The interior is level and stony. The remains of two small huts or pens are present in the SW corner.
