The National Monuments Service's description

On a terrace of rough pasture and scrub, within a multiperiod field system (CL005-115001-) and with good views from E to SE. Hachured on the 1842 and 1916 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps. A roughly circular cashel (int. diam. 25m) defined by a collapsed stone wall (Wth 2-3m; H 0.3-0.5m) with some possible original inner-wall facing at W and WNW (H 0.7m) and outer-wall facing at ENE. Much of the enclosing wall has been rebuilt in relatively modern times.
