The National Monuments Service's description

Surrounding Killeany medieval church (CL005-108003-) and in the SE sector of and partially overlying the line of an ecclesiastical enclosure (CL005-108002-). A rectangular graveyard (70m WNW-ESE; 40m SSW-NNE) defined by a modern stone wall. The visible burial markers are 18th-20th century in date and are concentrated to the S of the church, with a few to its E. A penitential station (CL005-108005-) and cursing stones (CL005-108008-) sit on the approximate line of the ecclesiastical enclosure within the E sector of the graveyard. A circular depression (diam. 13m; D 1m), surrounding a large grass covered block of limestone (4m N-S; 2m E-W; H 1m), lies c. 5m E of the church, just north of the penitential station (CL005-108005-). The block appears to be bedrock and the surrounding depression may be the remains of a quarry for the church.
