The National Monuments Service's description
On the E slopes of Slieve Elva within a large field system (CL004-016001-) The E portion is indicated on the 1915 OS 6-inch map. A subrectangular cashel (c. 28m NE-SW; c. 24m NW-SE) defined by the remains of a double-faced stone wall visible on Ordnance Survey ortho photography (2013-2018).
