On a flat W-facing slope on high ground in an exposed area with clear views of the Aran islands. A small field system (CL004-086002-) extends to the SW of the enclosure (CL004-086001-) and lies within a larger field system (CL004-027001-). A roughly circular enclosure (int. dims. 17.5m N-S; 16.5m ESE-WNW) defined by a stone spread (int. H 0.2-0.8m; max. Wth 3m) with a NW-SE later field wall crossing the site just N of centre. The stone spread varies and is widest and highest W of the field wall. The interior is level.
