The National Monuments Service's description

Westropp (1905, 349) noted a defaced and partly rebuilt cairn on the ‘corner of the knoll’ on which two cashels (CL004-065002- and CL004-065003-) are located. ITM 510520, 701994 was inspected as a possible location in 1998 but was found to be natural. There may be a cairn elsewhere in the vicinity.
