The National Monuments Service's description
Abutting the outer wall face of ‘Caherdoon’ (CL004-027003-) at SE. Described by Westropp (1905, 251) as, ‘… the lower part of a small circular hut (joined by side walls to the rampart) on the south-east.’ However, on his plan of the monuments, Westropp (op. cit. 346) depicts this as a rectangular structure (est. ext. L c. 5m; Wth. c. 4m) subdivided by an internal wall on the short axis, to W of centre.
