The National Monuments Service's description
On the first shelf overlooking a col to the S. The E edge of the cairn is just 4.6m from a drystone wall forming the border with Co. Galway. There are good views out to the E and W but hills rise to the N and S. Indicated on Robinson’s revised ed. (1999) of the Burren. A disturbed circular cairn (basal dims. 9.8m E–W; 9.7m N–S; H 1m at E; H 1.4m at S). A low drystone wall built on its N perimeter appears built from robbed material and a quarry is evident on its surface (diam. 1.7m; D 1m). A few upright stones around its base may be a remnant of a kerb.
