The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle S-facing slope of rough grazing and outcropping rock from which numerous small spring wells emerge. Hachured as a small mound on the 1842 and 1915 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘Earthwork’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A classic horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt stone (20.8m E–W x 17.8m N–S; max H 1.8m) open to the NW with an additional mound of burnt stone between the two arms, creating an almost enclosed trough area (6.6m E–W x 6.5m N–S). Two burnt mounds (CL003-028003- and CL003-028004-) are located 20m W and 10m NW respectively and another fulacht fia (CL003-028002-) is located 50m to the N.
