The National Monuments Service's description

Listed as ‘Fulacht fiadh’ in the SMR (1992) and as ‘Fulachta Fiadh’ in the RMP (1996). Coffey (1995, 16-17) says that the the Comyn memorial (CL002-021004-) is set on a fulacht fia. On inspection in 1997 this was found to be a small mound (diam. c. 2m; H 0.2-0.3m). There is no trace of any fulachta fia at this location.
