The National Monuments Service's description

On a narrow level terrace of gently sloping W-facing bare rock (Wth 15m), near the SW foot of Moneen ‘Mountain’. Marked on Robinson’s (1977) map. A well-defined circular fulacht fia mound (14.6m N–S x 13.1m E–W; max. H 1.5m at N), with a depression on its upper surface (int. dims. 5.9m S–N x 5.1m E–W crest to crest; D 0.2–0.8m) and a short bank extending from its NE side (L 1m). A spring emerges from the base of a low bluff (H 1–1.5m) c. 3m to the E.
