Hachured on the 1842 and 1915 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). In good pasture, on level ground at E head of narrow, shallow valley enclosed by gently rising ground to N, E and S and with open ground falling gently to W. A poorly preserved subcircular rath (24.4m N–S; 21.9m E–W crest to crest) defined by a low round-topped earthen bank (Wth at base 4.1–6.8m; H 0.2–0.9m) except at W where the bank is flat topped and lowest (Wth at base 5.4m; H 0.1–0.3m). The interior has been dug out (max. D 0.5m) irregularly from WSW–ESE. A long low field clearance cairn and lone bush occupy the outer edge of the enclosing bank at E. The site of a disused graveyard (CL002-059----) is c. 250m to the WSW, approximately centrally located between this and two other raths (CL002-015---- and CL002-060----), which are c.410m W and c. 415m WSW. A medieval church (CL002-014002-) and associated remains are located c.450m WNW.
