The National Monuments Service's description
In rough grazing on a terrace on a SW-facing slope near the foot of Gleninagh Mountain, overlooking the Caher Valley and River. Listed as ‘Rectangular enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Hachured as a rectangular enclosure on the 1842 OS 6-inch map. A rectangular enclosure (c. 32m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) is visible on Digital Globe ortho photography (2011-12) and on OS orthophotos (2013-18) integrated into an associated field system (CL002-027001-) predating the modern field system. A second possible rectangular cashel (CL002-026----) is located c. 60m NW and two circular cashels (CL002-028---- and CL002-029----) are located c. 140m SE and c. 250m SE.
