The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in a remote level terrace on a S-facing slope with bare rock outcrop and scree upslope to N and downslope to S. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). An enclosure is marked on Tim Robinson's map of the Burren (1977). On inspection in 1997 this was found to be a small well-preserved field (c. 28m E-W; c. 18m N-S) defined by a single drystone wall of modern construction. The enclosure sits within a field system (CL002-003001-) that is likely to have medieval or prehistoric elements.
