Historique
L'édifice fut construit en 1887 pour accueillir le médecin en poste dans l'île (plans conservés au Musée d'Arche). La maison est devenue mairie en 1920 jusqu'à la suppression de la commune en 1936. Elle fut restaurée en 1987 et est gérée, à ce jour, par l'Association pour la sauvegarde du patrimoine de l'Ile aux Marins.

History
The building was constructed in 1887 to house the doctor posted on the island (plans preserved at the Arche Museum). The house became the town hall in 1920 until the abolition of the commune in 1936. It was restored in 1987 and is managed today by the Association for the Safeguarding of the Heritage of Île aux Marins.
