En 2010, un fossé isolant une plateforme d'environ 670m2 a été découvert dans une zone boisée dans sud de la Basse-Terre en Guadeloupe. Situés sur une position topographique dominant la Grande Anse sur l'actuelle commune de Trois-Rivières, ces vestiges correspondent à ceux de la redoute d'Arbaud, fortification passagère construite à la fin du 18e siècle, au moment de la guerre d'Amérique. La redoute s'insère dans un système défensif constitué de batteries côtières et d'autres redoutes et de retranchements destinés à empêcher les débarquements ennemis. History
In 2010, a ditch isolating a platform of approximately 670m2 was discovered in a wooded area in the south of Basse-Terre in Guadeloupe.
