Villa conçue en 1902-1903 par Hector Guimard pour le beau-frère de son ami Léon Nozal. Le Castel Val correspond à un édifice de la maturité de l'architecte qui inscrit la villa dans son environnement. Adossé au coteau et déployé en éventail, le Castel profite de la vue sur l'Oise. La structure métallique est laissée en partie apparente, contrastant avec la brique, les moellons de calcaire, la ferronnerie et la tuile.

History
Villa designed in 1902-1903 by Hector Guimard for the brother-in-law of his friend Léon Nozal. The Castel Val corresponds to a building of the architect's maturity which inscribes the villa in its environment. Leaning against the slope and fanned out, the Castel benefits from the view over the Oise. The metal structure is left partly exposed, contrasting with the brick, limestone rubble stone, ironwork and tile.
