Château construit pour le contrôleur des finances de Louis XV, Jean-Baptiste Machault, sur les dessins de Pierre Contant d'Ivry, entre 1750 et 1757. Direction des principaux chantiers par l'architecte Chevotet. Seules les écuries (aujourd'hui détruites) , l'orangerie, une partie du château et l'aménagement du parc furent achevés.

Château built for the controller of finances of Louis XV, Jean-Baptiste Machault, after designs by Pierre Contant d'Ivry, between 1750 and 1757. Direction of the main building works by the architect Chevotet. Only the stables (today destroyed), the orangery, part of the château and the layout of the park were completed.
