Chapelle fondée en 1066, simple oratoire sur la route de Paris à Rouen. A la fin du 12e siècle, en 1194, construction d'une église dédiée à Saint-Nicolas, qui était le siège d'un prieuré (quelques bâtiments sont encore discernables). La construction se poursuit dans le premier quart du 13e siècle. Remaniements au 16e siècle. En 1669, église dévastée par un incendie : réfection de la charpente et couvrement de la nef.

History
Chapel founded in 1066, a simple oratory on the road from Paris to Rouen. At the end of the 12th century, in 1194, construction of a church dedicated to Saint-Nicolas, which was the seat of a priory (some buildings are still discernible).
