Une grande partie des aménagements et des décors est encore en place : mosaïques de sol, boiseries, menuiseries, un remarquable papier peint dont la matière s'apparente davantage au linoleum qu'au papier, deux cheminées en grès flammé ainsi qu'une rare ferronnerie de rampe d'escalier.

History
The villa 'La détente', erected in 1905, perfectly illustrates the Art Nouveau movement as evidenced by the facade with sinuous lines and vegetative forms of ornamental sculpture, inherited from the first creations of Hector Guimard. A large part of the fittings and decorations are still in place: floor mosaics, wood panelling, joinery, remarkable wallpaper whose material is more akin to linoleum than paper, two flamed stoneware fireplaces as well as rare staircase railing ironwork.
