History
The Saint-Denis factory was established in 1875 following the excessive rise in nickel prices and the discovery of Caledonian ores. The creation of the factory was intended especially for nickel metallurgy and mechanical manufacture of cutlery. The factory, situated between the canal and the railway line, constitutes a particularly interesting example, its original activity having been preserved intact.
