En 1893, un chenal couvert est aménagé, apportant l'eau captée, et des bacs de rinçage sont installés. Le lavoir se compose d'une halle couverte d'un toit porté par huit piliers en pierre qui abrite, en partie, le bassin et l'allée des laveuses derrière laquelle sont les bacs de rinçage et le chenal couvert. Au nord, trois auges en pierre, en enfilade, sont alimentées par une goulotte.

History
The springs of Val Saint-Dizier played a role in the treatment of madness practised until the 19th century. The wash-house does not appear on the 1824 cadastre. In 1893, a covered channel was laid out, bringing the captured water, and rinsing troughs were installed. The wash-house consists of a covered hall with a roof supported by eight stone pillars which shelters, in part, the basin and the washerwomen's aisle behind which are the rinsing troughs and the covered channel. To the north, three stone troughs, in line, are fed by a chute.
