Reconstruit après l'incendie de 1646, le château présente un ensemble de bâtiments ordonnés autour d'une vaste cour carrée. A l'étage, de part et d'autre d'une fenêtre rectangulaire, traces de deux rarissimes cadrans solaire et lunaire avec des inscriptions latines. Le château est placé au fond de la cour, et les communs de part et d'autre de la cour fermée. Des alignements de plantations sont encore lisibles selon le dessin de 1728. Les toits du château et des communs possèdent de rares lucarnes en pierre à motif ajouré stylisé d'aigles bicéphales. A l'extérieur de l'enceinte, s'élève une maison médiévale qui était probablement celle des gardes du château.

History
Rebuilt after the fire of 1646, the castle presents a complex of buildings arranged around a vast square courtyard. On the upper floor, on either side of a rectangular window, traces of two extremely rare solar and lunar dials with Latin inscriptions. The castle is placed at the far end of the courtyard, and the outbuildings on either side of the enclosed courtyard. Alignments of plantings are still readable according to the drawing of 1728. The roofs of the castle and outbuildings possess rare stone dormers with stylized pierced motif of double-headed eagles. Outside the enclosure, stands a medieval house which was probably that of the castle guards.
