Architecture représentative des églises du Sénonais : construite en grès, massive, dominée par une grosse tour fortifiée témoin des affrontements militaires entre les comtés de Bourgogne, de Champagne et le domaine royal. L'église est formée d'une nef unique continuée sans interruption par un choeur à pans coupés. La poutre qui domine le choeur présente une belle sculpture des années 1500 : anges avec un décor héraldique. La tour fortifiée a été édifiée au 13e siècle et l'église a été reconstruite au début du 16e siècle.

History
Architecture representative of the churches of Senonais: constructed in sandstone, massive, dominated by a large fortified tower witness to the military conflicts between the counties of Burgundy, Champagne and the royal domain. The church consists of a single nave continued without interruption by a choir with canted angles. The beam which crowns the choir displays fine sculpture from around 1500: angels with heraldic decoration. The fortified tower was built in the 13th century and the church was rebuilt in the early 16th century.
